The Tatacoa Desert is the second largest arid zone in the country; On the east bank of the Magdalena River, this desert extends through the center of the department and is an ideal space to meet nature.

It has two trails: Cuzco and Lo Hoyos; It has eroded cliffs and ravines of ocher and grayish colors, formed by low rainfall and winds.
